The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) at the University of Washington is an educational program designed to give you an opportunity to become an officer in the United States Air Force while you complete your bachelor's degree. Also, the Air Force ROTC program will prepare you to assume positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air Force. Air Force ROTC offers two routes to an Air Force commission, the Air Force ROTC Four-Year Program and Three-Year Program.

The U.S. Air Force ROTC offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in joing the U.S. Air Force ROTC. The accepted academic fields are dependant will vary with each scholarship program. Scholarships are available, from high school scholoarships through enlisted scholarships.
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Achieve qualifying scores on the Air Force Officer Qualification Test
- Pass the Physical Fitness Test
- Be medically qualified for a commission
